Whitney, The Devil Cat and The Jehovah's Witness

You know animals are amazing creatures. Most are so cute and it is so neat to watch their personalities come out. Saturday, we took Lidia and Sawyer to the zoo in Columbia. We have been telling Lidia about the monkeys and how much noise they make first thing in the mornings. Sure enough they were making a huge racket when we got there. Braving the light rain, we stood right out there listening to them for a good ten minutes. Lidia was mesmorized. We had a good day in spite of the rain, but headed home a little earlier than I thought because of it.

On the way home, I remembered a story Whitney told me that happend to her last week. But first, you have to know the history behind her roomates cat. This cat is an attack cat. She sneeks around watching for you to walk by and then pounces on your feet and begins to just tear them up. Whitney has been threatening to let the cat out of the house (accidentally of course) so it will run away. She dubbed it "THE DEVIL CAT".

Well little did she know what was in store for her this particular day. There was a knock on the door and Whitney went to answer it. She was a little leery, so she peeked through the key hole and saw that standing on the other side was a Jehovah's Witness. "What do I do now?", she thought. "This person saw me come to the door, I can't just ignore it." "Man, I don't want to have to listen to the Jehovah's Witness". So reluctantly, Whitney opened the door and then what she had been praying for happened. THE DEVIL CAT flew out the door and was headed down the street (accidentally of course)! "Oh Lord, this is not happening!" Whitney politely told the Jehovah's Witness, "Excuse Me" and ran past him to chase the cat. THE DEVIL CAT saved her from the Jehovah's Witness.
