Emily told me this story:
Last Saturday, Emily and Sawyer was sitting on the porch while Lidia played in the yard. Lidia spied a bug in the grass and asked Emily what it was. Emily told her that it was a beetle. Lidia wanted to know if it was a "Mommy" beetle and Emily told her yes. Then Lidia heard a bug noise and told Emily that it was the "Baby" beetle calling it's Mommy. Emily agreed with her. Then Lidia came over to Emily on the porch and saw a beetle just lying on the steps. Lidia said, "Look the Daddy beetle is dead"! That was a good laugh, but didn't end there.
Emily started questioning Lidia about what she thought "dead" meant and who told her. Lidia told her that it meant to go away. That's pretty good for a 3-year-old. So Emily asked Lidia who told her that. Lidia said, "Mommy" and Emily said no that she didn't tell her and asked again. Lidia said, "Lidia". Then Emily said no again and asked, "Did LaLa tell you what being dead meant?" That's who Emily believed told Lidia because she says that I am always telling her strange stuff. Lidia said, "No, LaLa says 'American Idol' Is Coming Up Next."

LaLa, you must always be careful what you say around that one! She will tell all your secrets!
You are so right! And, she will put her own twist on it too.
